About the Programme:
A One-Day National Webinar on "Changing Consumer Behaviour during Pandemic Situation" was organized by Department of Commerce in collaboration with IQAC, Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata on 21st December, 2021 from 4 pm to 6.00 pm. The resource person of this webinar was Dr. Swati Basu Ghose, Assistant Professor and HOD, Department of Marketing and IB, Ramaiah Institute of Management, Bangalore. The target audience of this programme was students, teachers, scholars, and faculties of different institutions. There was a total registration of 87 participants. The programme was held in Google Meet platform. The webinar opened with words of inspiration from Dr. Rajyasri Neogy, Principal of Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, who formally delivered the welcome speech. Dr. Basu Ghose explained, through the help of PowerPoint presentation slides, the different factors affecting the consumer behaviour and the effects of such behaviour on the different industries. At the end of the session, the resource person very patiently answered the questions of the participants. The seminar ended with a vote of thanks from the IQAC co-ordinator, Dr. Sampa Debnath. The participants were provided with e- certificate of participation for attending the webinar.
