About the Programme:
A State-level Webinar on “An Insight Into The New E-filling 2.0 Process in The Light Of Changing Tax Regime” was organised by the Department of Commerce & Department of Economics in collaboration with IQAC, Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata on 11th July, 2021 from 4 pm to 6.00 pm. The resource person of this webinar was Dr. Amit Majumder, Associate Professor & PG Coordinator, Department of Commerce, Bijoy Krishna Girls’ College, Howrah. The target audience of this programme was students, teachers, scholars, faculties and non-teaching staffs of different institutions. There was a total of 146 registrations. The programme was held in Google Meet platform. The webinar opened with words of inspiration from Dr. Rajyasri Neogy, Principal of Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, who formally delivered the welcome speech. Dr. Majumder through the help screen-sharing practically explained the process of E-filing of taxes. He showed the participants the new portal of Income Tax Authority of India and then explained the different scenarios of filling up of different ITR Forms. The session was an interactive one in which Dr. Majumder answered different queries of the participants patiently. The seminar ended with a vote of thanks from the IQAC co-ordinator, Dr. Prasenjit Das and the participants were provided with e-participation certificate for attending the webinar.
