By studying Green Chemistry one can learn how to meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. For this purpose, following measures can be taken with the help of Green Chemistry knowledge.
1. Protection of environment from pollution.
2. Minimization of waste and byproducts formation.
3. Synthesis of less hazardous chemicals.
4. Synthesis of ecofriendly or biodegradable products
5. Replacement of hazardous organic solvents.
6. Use of renewable raw materials.
7. Consumption of minimum energy.
8. To minimize release of obnoxious and inflammable chemicals, explosion, and fires.
