FAREWELL PROGRAMME OF 6TH SEMESTER HONS.

0nline farewell programmes for 6th semester Honours and General students were organized by 2nd & 4th semester Honours & General students of Department of History, Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata, West Bengal separately on 23rd and 24th July 2021 at 4 pm. The programme on both the days were commenced with the inaugural address of Dr. Rajyasri Neogy, Principal, VJRC. Both the programmes were conducted by Dr. Samiparna Rakshit, Convenor of the programme and Head of the Department of History, VJRC. Students engaged themselves in various cultural activities and their cumulative efforts resulted in a grandeur memorable farewell programme on both the days. Teachers of this department actively participated in this programme by their memorable singing performances and deliverance of inspiring speech. The teachers of the department namely Dr. Sutapa Ghosh Thakur, Bishnupriya Bhattacharya, Angira Sen, Sukla Bindu were directly involved which resulted in the success of the programme.65 Honours students participated on 23rd July 2021 and 100 General students participated on 24th July 2021. On both the days e-Manpatra was given as a token of remembrance to the students of outgoing Honours and General batch. The programme was ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Samiparna Rakshit.
