We are delighted to announce that our Head of the Department, Dr. Dasarath Mal recently got recognised for excellent research work on porus material in the national level seminar organised in Bidhan Nagar Govt. College, Kolkata. His poster entiteled " A New Supramolecular Synthon in Gd-based Metal Organic Framework" got best poster award. Emininent Scientists Prof. Swadin Kumar Mondal, (SHANTI SWARUP BHATNAGAR Scientist) IISER Kolkata; Prof. Sanjib Bagchi, Prof Emiratus, Ex HOD, Department of Chemistry, IISER Kolkata; Prof Nikhil Gucchait, University of Calcutta, Prof. Souvik Chatterjee, Jadavpur University were present as Resource person for the programme.
