For more than six decades Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College travelled to achieve academic excellence with social justice by crossing several hurdles. In tune with the major objectives of National Education Policy NEP(2020), Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College is preparing itself for  more experiential, holistic, integrated, inquiry -driven, learner centred, flexible education within the set up of affiliating University. Numerous initiatives are taken by the institution within the set up of affiliating University and Govt policy e.g. introduction of add on certificate courses, value added certificate courses, emphasising propagation of Indian Knowledge System and focusing on outcome based education.

We believe that it is our duty to make this institution as one of the most leading institutions in the field of academics.
