SEMINAR

1. Paper entitled “A Historical Study of the Challenges and Barriers of Women Entrepreneurs in India” was presented in the 4^th All India Conference on Business Studies on the theme ‘Business in the New Millennium: Emerging Trends’ organized by Durgapur International Business Studies Academia, West Bengal in association with Deshabandhu Mahavidyalaya, Chittaranjan during November 20-21, 2014.

2. Presented a paper in the UGC sponsored Two Day State Level Seminar titled ‘Existence of Discrimination Among Men Women and Third Sex: Historical Background and Present Day Reality’ organized by Department of History, Panchakot Mahavidyalaya in collaboration with Department of History, Nistarini College, Purulia on 4^th and 5^th January, 2017. The title of the paper was ‘Rights of the Girl Child and Her Childhood: A Historical Study’.

3. Presented paper entitled “Socio-economic and Political Status of Dalit Women in India” in the National Level Two Days Seminar entitled “Microfinance and Rural Livelihood Diversification” held at Sonamukhi College, Sonamukhi, Bankura, West Bengal on 27^th and 28^th February 2017.

4. Presented a paper entitled “A Historical Characterization of Education, Encouragement & Enlightenment” in ICSSR sponsored National Seminar on “Education, Encouragement & Enlightenment: Perspective of 3 E’s” held at Department of Education, Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, West Bengal on 1^st and 2^nd March 2017.

5. Has participated and presented a paper entitled “Gender Budgeting: A Pillar for Women Empowerment” in the UGC sponsored National Seminar on ‘Women’s Economic Empowerment and Inclusive Growth’ held on 7^th & 8^th of March 2017 at Kazi Nazrul Islam Mahavidyalaya, Churulia, Burdwan, West Bengal.

6. Attended International Conference on ‘Life and Works of Kazi Nazrul Islam’ organized by Nazrul Centre for Social and Cultural Studies & Department of Bengali, Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol in association with Institute of Nazrul Studies, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Trishal, Mymensingh, Bangladesh held on April 26 & 27, 2017 and also presented a paper jointly with Dr. Susanta Mitra entitled ‘Kazi Nazrul and His Thoughts on Equality’.

7. Attended the Third Annual International Conference 2017 organized by the Paschimbanga Anchalik O Lokasanskriti Charcha Kendra in collaboration with Bidhannagar College on 01.07.2017 & 02.07.2017 at the Bidhannagar College and presented a paper entitled “Dr. Zakir Hussain’s Thoughts on Child Education.”

8. Attended the Seventy-Eight Session of the Indian History Congress at Jadavpur University, from 28-30 December 2017 and presented a paper entitled ‘Girindrasekhar Bose and the Initiation of the Study of Psychoanalysis in India’ in Section III: Modern India.

9. Attended the Thirty-Fourth Annual Conference of Paschimbanga Itihas Samsad held from 24^th to 26^th January 2018 at School of Women’s Studies, Jadavpur University and presented a paper entitled “Sarbapalli Radhakrishnan O Tar Shiksha Bishayak Bhabna” in the Modern India Section.

10. Participated in the seminar on ‘Mahatma Gandhi: Rural Reconstruction of India Using Science & Technology’ organized by The Science Association of Bengal in collaboration with Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College & Rural Development Forum, The Institution of Engineers (India), held on Monday, 1^st October, 2018.

11. Attended the ICSSR Sponsored Two Day International Conference on ‘Migration And Displacement: Global Perspectives On Issues And Challenges’ organized by Behala College, Kolkata held on 10-11 January 2019 and presented a paper entitled “Migration Issues During Partition and the Rights of Migrating Women.”

12. Attended and presented a paper titled Asoka’s Dhamma and its Perception of Values in Ancient India in the one-day National seminar on Value Crisis and the Role of Women in organized by East Calcutta Girls’ College, Lake Town on 10^th August, 2019.

13. Attended the UGC-RUSA 2.0 Sponsored Two-Day International Seminar organized by Centre for Studies in Cultural Diversity and Wellbeing, Jadavpur University in collaboration with Department of Political Sciene Sodo-Kanho-Birsha University and Byanjanbarna Foundation, Kolkata, on 6^th and 7^th January, 2020 and presented a paper entitled “Bhanga- Gaan in Rabindrasangeet”.

14. Attended One Day National Seminar on ‘The Challenges And The Opportunities of Best Practices in Higher Education’ organized by IQAC, VJRC in collaboration with NAAC and presented a paper entitled ‘Implementing Best practice Among College Students Through Meditation’ on 15.01.2020.

15. Attended International Seminar on ‘Global Education of The 21^st Century: Perspectives and Challenges’ organized by the Department of Education, Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata, supported by IQAC, Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College in collaboration with Raidighi College, West Bengal & K.K.Das College, West Bengal and presented a paper entitled ‘Introduction of Distance Education in India: a Historical Perspective’ on 7^th February 2020.

16. Actively participated in the National Webinar held on 19^th & 20^th August 2020 organized by Department of History, Saheed Kshudiram College, W.B & Dept. of Political Science, Malda College, W.B and also presented a paper entitled ‘Sino-Indian Relations Since Dokalam’.

17. Actively participated in the National Virtual Conference held on 27^th & 28^th August 2021 organized by Department of History, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur & Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage and presented a paper entitled ‘Water Architecture of Jodhpur’. The paper was awarded Best Paper of the conference.

WORKSHOP

1. Attended the Extension Lecture delivered by Dr. Aparajita De, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University on the theme entitled, “Re-appropriating the Colonial History of Darjeeling through the Local and Colonial Sources” and “Writing Alternative History” in the Department of History, Kazi Nazrul University on 28.04.2016.

2. Actively participated in the One Day Workshop on “Greek and Roman Historians” organized by The Department of History, Raniganj Girls’ College on 9^th September 2016.

3. Successfully participated in the One day Training Program on 3^rd August, 2018 held at Chittaranjan in collaboration with IQAC, Deshabandhu Mahavidyalaya, Chittaranjan in realm to the conduct of a survey of women respondents in Paschim Bardhaman district engaged in Self Help Groups in connection with the ICSSR sponsored project.

4. Participated as a Resource Person on National Science Day, 2019 organized by The Science Association of Bengal in collaboration with Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College & Rural Development Forum, The Institution of Engineers (India), held from Thursday, 28^th February to Saturday, 2^nd March 2019.

 5. Attended One Day Workshop on Academic Audit organized by Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata on 9^th September 2019 (4 hrs)

1. Attended One Day Faculty Development Program on ‘ICT based Teaching, Learning and Evaluation in Higher Education organized by IQAC, Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata on 24^th April 2019 from 11 am to 5 pm.

2. Attended Two Day Faculty Development Program on Development of Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) organized by IQAC, Vijaygarh Jyotisdh Ray College in collaboration with Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMMRC) held on 29^th & 30^th August, 2019.

3. Actively participated in the Faculty Development Programme on Digital Training on E content Development for Online Classes on 3^rd July 2020 for 2 hours organized by Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata.

4. Attended 7 Days (One Week) FDP Educational Video Creation (E Content Development) 21^st September 2020 to 27^th September 2020 organized by Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata in collaboration with Toshniwal Arts, Commerce & Science College, Hingoli, Maharashtra.
