We took part in educational long and short excursion to Bakkhali, Pelling, Rabangla, Eastern Himalaya, Darjeeling, Meerik, Icchagaong etc.
We participated in educational visit to Achrya Jagadish Chandra Bose,Indian botanic Garden, Shibpur Howrah.
We participated in short field trip to Narendrapur, Bharatpur, Ajay Nagar, Survey park , Golfgreen, Subhasgram
We conducted field visit to Sasya Shyamala Krishi Vigyan Kendra to give an idea about different techniques of cultivation.
We encourage our students in mushroom cultivation.
Herbarium is a pride of dept of Botany. We encourage our students to prepare, organise and look after the Herbarium.
We organise departmental seminars and lecture-series by eminent scientists and professors to motivate our students.
We encourage our students to participate in seminars and different research institution to present papers, posters, and models to grow their interest in research in different field in future.
We encourage the students to participate in different intercollege competetionin like debate extracurricular activities. We encourage the students to organise different cultural activities.
We conducts parent–teacher meeting regularly to make them aware to progress of the children.
We advise our students in every steps and also monitor them for their overall development.
We take part in college sports and also motivate the students in different events.
