Although the primary objective of the college was to serve the students from the economically and socially disadvantaged sections of the society our dream at present is to nurture this institution as a centre of modern studies which in its turn will help our students to contribute something to the society. To make this dream into a reality our future programmes are :

1. To introduce M.Sc.(Zoology) under the University of Calcutta.
2. To open a Guidance Centre for W.B.C.S. and other Competitive Examinations.
3. To start a remedial coaching centre for poor & backward classes.
4. To start some professional courses, for example B.Ed., photography, Videography, film studies etc.
