ICSSR-ERC Sponsored Two-day National Seminar was organized by Department of History, Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College On the theme ‘GENDER IN INDIAN HISTORY: ITS RELATION WITH DIFFERENT TRAJECTORIES OF HISTORY OF INDIAN WOMEN FROM 1857 TO 1947’ On 20th and 21st September 2019 in collaboration with PASCHIMBANGA ITIHAS SAMSAD, Kolkata, West Bengal. No. of participants on the first day, 20th September 2019 was 89 and No. of participants on the second day, 21st September 2019 was 120. Duration of the seminar on the first day was from 11 am to 6 pm, 7 hrs. and of the second day 11 am to 5 pm, 6 hrs.
