About Me
Hi! This is Sujit Nandy from the Department of Physics, Vijaygarh Jyotiish Ray Colege. Regarding my academic background, it is worth mentioning that I am an alumnus of this Department. I belonged to the second batch of Honours students of the Department of Physics of this college and completed my graduation in 2006. I took my post graduate course in the Department of Physics, Presidency College, which was affiliated to the University of Calcutta at that time and obtained my Post graduate degree in 2008.
I attended a certified course on Astrophysics, organized by the Inter-University Centre of Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune in 2008. Then I joined research in an ISRO Project, under the supervision of Prof. Shyam Sundar Dey, in the Department of Radio physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta and worked in that project from 2008 to 2011. In 2008, I joined Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College as a teacher in the Department of Physics and working in this Department till date. In 2020, I have been designated as Government Approved College Teacher of this Department.
