I am a lecturer at the Department of History, Vijaygarh Jyotish Roy College. I have done my PhD in Ancient Indian History and Culture. I am involved in academics and research activities in Nataraja Siva, Iconographic art styles, the Economic and civil structure of ancient civilisations and the evolution of education. I have published research papers on these topics as well. My substantial experience in teaching has made me able to effectively identify students’ strong and weak points and provide them with practical solutions to reinforce their overall academic quality. I conduct remedial and mentoring classes, which prove to be highly effective for students. Over the years, I have gained immense exposure from webinars, conferences and symposiums conducted by VJRC, which has given me a lot of implementable ideas on improved teaching methods, student counselling and management. I wish to implement these ideas in the future, adhering to the evolving academic scenario with the help of my colleagues and my students at VJRC.
My Teaching Experience
I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching and about ten years of experience in conducting research activities.
